Guest guest
Now I know that lightheadedness and feeling faint is not a medical emergency. But it is still pretty scary. I had it happen to me in the shower this morning for the first time since I was in the hospital in Delano. I really thought I might go down and got myself out and on the floor pretty fast. I have decided no more showers when my hubby isn't home for a while. I was just wanting others to share their experiences with me. I have been going over my day and wondering what might have precipitated this. We were busy yesterday out shopping and running around. I think I ate okay but perhaps didn't get my water in as I usually do. I managed to catch a cold or at least a really sore throat so perhaps that on top of everything else was more than the old body could manage. My incision has not healed but it hasn't really gotten redder or bigger or worse in any way. Probably just one of those things but I sure didn't like it. I think I call my PCP and make an appointment for after Christmas and just try to take life a little easier, as much as possible. Thanks for listening.. in WA
Guest guest
Thanks so much for your response Marta, I have been plagued with some of this most of my life and try to be as calm about it as my Doctor seems to be. But if FEELS scary. I did some online reading and have about convinced myself it was a combination of letting myself get too dehydrated, taking a warmer shower than I had been (my incisions didn't like the water too warm before) and my period which I know doesn't help my anemia. And on top of that I've caught a virus that is causing a sore throat and headache. I am four weeks since the hernia/panni and feel like I should be recovered from that already! Geez! This Christmas stuff is pretty tiring this year. Sure glad to hear all my Southern CA friends are doing okay with that earthquake. You have all been on my mind. Hugs! in WA

Hi ! I'm so sorry you are feeling yucky and I hope it ends soon (have you tried the pickle juice remedy)? You know, where Dr. K tells us to drink pickle juice when we feel dizzy (I just eat salt -- yummy)! I'm thinking about you and sending prayers your way. Hugs and blessings, Ann
