I spoke with one of my best friends

today.  She works in San Diego

and lives in Encinitas.  She had to leave her home and is staying with her Mom

in Carlsbad

where she said it’s safe.

My son's sisters , brother and step mom live in Ramona and I

hear they evacuated the whole city ! 250,000 in total have to be evactuated and

they don't think they will get a handle on the fires until sometime tomorrow

because of the santa anna's .

It's all that's been on tv all day. We

are 13 miles from

the closest fire, but it is close to my

daughters, they

are rear Lake Forest.

Don't forget your meds and your phone

book if you

have to evacuate!!

My heart goes out to all of those who

have lost their

homes, and to the firefighters doing

their best..

This is really ugly..

The way that the (Santa Ana)

wind/s is/are blowing here, who knows what'll happen......

I don't really anticipate 'having-to' evacuate from here, but, I'm

putting some 'valueables'/family-mementoes into a couple/few

boxes,.....(just in case)

Really, I'm quite relaxed about the whole thing at this point.
