Not really, , did away with chat, we used to get together occasionally someone would post they were in chat and others would join, but , did away with that. A few of us talk on instant messenger but we have developed freindships and have traded information. You might want to do a search for local aspie groups, I know there is a group of parents here in the philadelphia suburbs, but I found them to be the type of people that want to fix their children rather than helping them. Thanks for the info. I'm in the Raleigh, NC area and I'll keep looking. Not sure if you have posted here before or not. But welcome if I have

not welcomed you before.

I had to turn off the chat function. With all the predators out there,

it was too risky to keep it available unsupervised.

disabled the chat function after a while and re-directed people

to a central location. If regular chat becomes available, I AM toying

with periodic (supervised) chat sessions, and we do have one place

available for chatting in the meantime:

I recommend no other chatrooms than this one because those who run

them either are or may be unscrupulous.
