Hi Jim!

Thanks for this update on Lazaro, and I appreciate your keeping his

confidence for the rest. I hope he gets well soon -- 200 pounds in 3 months is

a huge

amount of weight to lose, no wonder he is too weak to walk.

Hugs and blessings, Ann

I believe that he told me he'd actually lost 280 pounds.

What would it be like to loose that much in three months? That is just over

3 pounds per day!) Yes, that would make one very weak. But then, until one

started walking or doing other exercise, one would never recover that lost

strength. It's a vicious cycle.

Think of the change to which the body would have to adjust! I'd like to try

loosing 100 pounds in 2 months. But, alas, it won't happen with me--not even

with all the X-Lax in the US. LOL

Hi, Vicki;

I'm not sure when he had surgery, but he has been back in hospital for two

months. He had been released for a week or so, so, he may have been your

surgery sibling.

That is the man, Vicki. He is Portuguese. His family speaks no English and

they've been here about 20 years.
