Guest guest
I was standing in my closet looking up ten feet wondering if I should get the hook 'n pole and bring down my black leather motorcycle jacket that has been hanging forlornly up there for years. Hmmm... well, since I don't have a bike, I guess I should leave it up there for now. Marta
Guest guest
Just thought I'd mention that I've heard about blending Leather and something floral or soft to create a " Leather & Lace " blend....sounds fun huh!! I was thinking of making a " Auto Shop " spray mist with it to freshen cars..that came on the heals of a new auto dealer requesting a scent for this kind of thing (to freshen the interior of trade-in vehicles) . I'd never have thought about auto dealers as clients, but hey it's a never ending expansion of marketing possibilities. Guest guest
Hi Alice: There is a fragrance oil called " New Car " that smells like a new car's interior (go figure). I did a Google and found quite a few suppliers for it. You could make a fragrance sachet and spray with this or a good " leather " fragrance. What about making gift baskets that the dealer could include as a gift when purchasing a car? It could have a chamois, some leather/vinyl and dashboard cleaner, car wax/polish, glass cleaner, carpet and upholstery cleaner, the sachet or fragrance spray, etc. Here are some websites with recipes to get you started: http://www.recipegoldmine.com/house/house.html http://www.members.tripod.com/~Wolvesdreams/household.html http://www.mindfully.org/Sustainability/Alternative-Recipes-LA-Co.htm http://www.realmoney.org/articles/carcare.htm http://www.arazmataz.com/07b.htm http://www.make-stuff.com/formulas/index.html http://www.rougeriver.com/getinvol/individual/car.html Good luck! :-) Cat > Just thought I'd mention that I've heard about blending Leather and > something floral or soft to create a " Leather & Lace " blend....sounds fun > huh!!
