Quick back ground...I was raised on a Dairy (House actually on the Dairy property) My dad was a Foreman (Dairy term is Herdsman) Then I married a Herdsman. So most of my married life and raising my kids were on a Dairy. Then My husband branched out and we became self employed. We are Diniz Livestock...we buy and sell newborn Dairy calves. We also do hauling for dairies...There was a time that we also raised the calves...thank goodness we don't any more. Having 800 calves to feed twice a day EVERY day regardless of weather or OUR health can be challenging at times. Anyway we make more profit selling the calves the same day that we buy them...and it's a heck of a lot less work. So.... Raised on a Dairy....have fed more calves than I care to think about...we buy and sell newborn " baby " calves...therefore " Moobabies " That's why cattle smelling like money...and having lived on a Dairy most of my life I don't think the Smell is Bad....now Pig farms is another story! lol Jo
