Would like some advice/input/info?

I realize I'm not very active in this group sorry but I have been trying to raise my son and my grand daughter and she is a toddler so its not a whole bunch of free time, but I would like some advice /info or just plain input on the following situation.

Andy my 10 year old son has a staff infection we think was caused by a spider bite but cant be sure, anyway the Dr put him on bactrim a sulphur based antibiotic, ok this sounds like no biggie right? OMW was I ever wrong! My son normally takes geodon, lexapro and tenex on a daily basis, well Friday night we gave him one tablet of the bactrim and he seemed normal we really couldn't tell a big diff Fri night but by sat he became aggressive argumentative and just plain hard to handle! Ok this is norm for a meltdown but not that long, then Sunday night thinking the weekend was just a bad weekend I gave him one more tablet that's when the recycled horse food hit the fan! He was not only aggressive, and argumentative, and hard to handle but he was MEGA MEGA MAJOR agitated, he couldn't even sit still for 5 seconds! No joke! Not only that we couldn't get him to sleep for anything we couldn't even get him to lay down, he had been up since 630 am sat morn and he had only 3 hrs sleep then, (I decided he aint getting that anymore) he finally crashed tonight at 830 at he was still literally in motion when he crashed!

Has anyone ever seen or heard of or been through a reaction such as that? We have been having problems with him since he came back from dads at thanksgiving with the argumentative side of him but we were starting to get that back under control then this... I really don't know where to go or who else to talk to since not many of my friends or family understand what I'm going through to start with most of them think its just bad behavior that can be controlled with stricter discipline. I dunno maybe I just needed a place to vent and let go and maybe get heard. After this weekend my mom (one of the few that understands him) and I and his sis are calling him hurricane cuz that's how he tore through the house leaving destruction in his wake I love my son and wouldn't trade him for the world but not sure where to go from here.
