Guest guest
We don't get a newspaper, don't get good radio reception here in this valley, and only get PBS on the TV -- with some interference. So my son wasn't bombarded with much of yesterday's disasters. But my parents and sisters are spread out in the northeast (we're in Kentucky) including a sister in DC and a close cousin in Manhatten, so I was trying to keep up with what was going on. My son did see a plane run in to the world trade center building with a big fire, and he thought that was kind of cool. I tried to explain very generally that a lot of people were upset about this, but generally my husband and I did internet news checks while he wasn't around, and we didn't talk to him much about it. I figured at four, he wouldn't understand much, and he gets nightmares from a flash of light, let alone something of this magnitude. What are you all telling your kids? I know he's going to be exposed to it all through our weekly activities, and I don't know what to share. D
