Guest guest
I am a lurker who has a question on the Hep B vaccine for those getting gammaglobulin. I have been told by my daughter's doctor that the vaccine may not provide any benefit because she is on gammaglobulin. I am wondering if any of you have any information about benefits/risks of the vaccine for someone who may have CVID. Thanks for any advice. Guest guest
She should be getting coverage through her IgG replacement because people who donate the plasma have already had the Hep B vaccine. Not sure how many.. The only immunization my boys get is the flu shot because the IgG is from the previous year and the previous year's strain may not provide coverage for the current year's strain. ~Peace be with you~ Pattie " Faith is to believe what you do not see. Guest guest
--- our dr says that as long as the kids are on IVIG, they shouldnt need anymore vaccines. In fact, my 5 yr old has a letter for school from this dr stating that he is now exempt from further vaccinations unless at some time in the future he stops IVIG treatment. valarie In , K979@... wrote: > > I am a lurker who has a question on the Hep B vaccine for those getting > gammaglobulin.
