Guest guest
Hi , Did you know that peanut butter and any kind of peanut product also contains the aspergillus mold? You probably already know, but I thought I would mention it just in case peanut butter is a mainstay in your kids' diet like it is in mine. Guest guest
Hello to all, I am new to the list and considering enzymes for my four-year old son. I was looking at the Prime zyme enzymes and wondering about the aspergillus mold. When we had my son blood tested for allergies he was not IGE allergic to molds, but IGG sensitive to all of them with Aspergillus being the highest. At that point though we were just starting gfcf and elimination diet and he was eating several boxes of raisins a day. I know (now) that raisins can have a lot of mold and I am wondering if aspergillus is a pretty common one and he was chowing on it every day. He has not had raisins in almost a year so I am assuming that his IGG levels have gone down considerably and would probably be okay. However, maybe that's a wrong assumption. Has anyone else's child tested high for IGG's on mold and been okay on the enzymes? I would appreciate any input. Thanks! mom to 4 yr old Ben (no diagnosis, maybe sensory integration disorder, ADHD, who the heck knows, none of our doctors do.)
