I am producing a documentary about African American and African women

with Asperger's Syndrome. It will chronicle the lives of Mamé

N'Diaye and Jenifer . Both women were diagnosed as teenagers

and are at transitional points in life. Their stories are supported

through the video interviews of other black women who have Asperger's

syndrome.

ASPERGER GIRLS promises to be of value to medical practitioners,

autism organizations, parents, educators and advocates in various

capacities. It will also be an invaluable teaching tool in autism

programs.

I have recorded some video and now I'm in a fundraising stage.

During this period I'm also seeking out as many women as I can find

with Asperger's to include in this project.

At your convenience, I would like to call you and discuss the project.

Please let me know the best times to call you and include a phone

number.

Thank you,

Debra J.
