Guest guest
Hello Ursula, 's SQIG reactions are: decreased appetite, vomiting, low grade fever, localized site reactions, diarrhea for a couple of days afterwards, increase in abdominal distention and just plain being miserable not himself. His IVIG reactions were: flushing, headaches, documented increase in heart rate and blood pressure so infusion rate had to be slowed down or stopped, extreme fever (105-106), abdominal distention that led to ileuses, multiple times of vomiting and expulsive diarrhea that led to dehydation, and joint pain. They even premedicated him with IV benedryl and hydrocortisone before and after along with tylenol etc.... Proud Mom to 2 year old with a PID~ hypogamma with spec antib defic. and multiple other problems... www.caringbridge. org/visit/ matthewfranson > > - what type of reactions is Mathew having? > > Ursula - mom to (14) and Macey (12, CVID) > http://www.primaryimmune.org > http://www.jmfworld.org > http://caringbridge.org/ga/macey/ > > >
