Colloidal silver is a good place to start (as a douche and

internally). It has cured many inconveniences in the past (especially

yeast). It helps almost immediately. Boric acid, (as a bolus or

soaked in a tampon) is another good thing to try. It seems to change

the ph factor which yeast then can not live. Yogurt (as a bolus or

soaked in a tampon) will resupply good bacteria as well. I know gross,

I have not tried it but, it was a usually suggestion on my yeast

list. Also eating more alkalinizing food will help. I ingested fresh

squeezed lemonade several times a day for 2 months and felt like a new

person and had not had yeast problems until recently again. I need to

start it again. :-(

I do not have an ozonator but the ooo or ozonated water may help as well.

HI ,

I would never douche. It will totally mess up your (her) internal flora.

Doing vaginal insufflation would deal with what ever she might be having

problems with. Using ozonated olive oil would really only get to the things

only as far as she can reach inside to apply it, but it would be a good

accompaniment to the vaginal insufflation for sure.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar will help restore ph balance as well. It's great for

anyone as an additative to bath water to restore the skins ph mantle destroyed

by soaps and other chemicals..

What would you prescribe for those who cannot do or have access to vaginal

insufflation.

Hi Carol Ann,

Seeing as I am not a doctor I don't " prescribe " anything to anyone.

Anyone can have access to ozonated olive oil, by ordering it off my site

(yes shameless plug there) and although it won't go as high up as a

catheter, I suppose you could use some form of tool to insert it internally

if you wanted to.

Other than that, I don't have any suggestions for treating vaginal yeast

because all the things I tried for mine before ozone were not really helpful

and mostly increased the problem in the long run.

Sorry Sherri-Lee. I know you do not and are not in the habit of ever

" prescribing " anything to anyone. Poor choice of words on my part. What I meant

was " recommend " from personal experience, in an effort to help, like so many of

us do, here and elsewhere, on a day to day basis.

I wouldn't recommend douches as a matter of routine for any woman either..and as

we know problems such as vaginaitis etc do not equate to poor hygiene like some

women are led to believe by marketers of such products. Nor do they lend

themselves to good health. But there are times when a woman's pH environment

gets so out of wack, (i.e. antibiotics) that occasional intervention is

warranted.

Hi ,

Recently I posted on Boric Acid. Check through the last two weeks of

posts for that one.

Colloidal Silver is the least stressful for vaginal tissues. Plus, I

tend to think enough stays in to continue working for awhile. I use

straight homemade CS. I sometimes add a half tsp of goldenseal powder,

boiled in some CS. I make it into a tea bag so I don't have to strain it.

Some people find applecider vinegar is good. I find it makes it worse

every time.????

Morning and evening applications, whether a suppository or douche, works

best, for me. I continue for a few days after the symptoms abate.

Dr.Schulze recommends a garlic clove, with a few knife slices in it,

tied to a string and inserted at bed time. He also recommends a long,

slow douche with hips elevated so liquid reaches cervix. He recommends

Echinacea, goldenseal combo as a douche.

Blessings

Donna
