Hi friends,

I looked up Primal Defense on the web yesterday and found that it

contains all sorts of things that I would avoid because of gluten.

Here are some of the ingredients:

" 467 mg Certified Organic Green Grass Juices = Kamut Grass

Juice, 15% Alfalfa Grass Juice, 15% Oat Grass Juice, 15% Barley Grass

Juice.

100 mg PhytoSterol/Sterolin Blend from sprouts in their natural

whole food form (low temperature flash freeze dried). Sprouts

included are Wild African Potato, Oilseed Plant, Lupins, Fenugreek,

Barley, Wheat, Soybean and African Sunflower. "

Is there no gluten in the kamut, barley, oats, and wheat juices? And

my son is also allergic to soy as well as dairy products.

It looks to me as though Kirkman's ProBioGold would be perfect, but I

live in Manila, Philippines, so there is no way that the product is

going to be kept cool all the way from the States to here. It would

probably also have to sit in some hot customs clearing area for

several days at least. So how potent is the product going to be by

the time it reaches me? It sounds as though it is not worth the

expense.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks. Regards,

Australian, living in Manila

I would be concerned about the barley, oats and wheat juices in the

Primal Defense (not sure about kamut). I'm not familiar with this

product, but if those are the ingredients listed, I think you can

count on it containing gluten.

As far as shipping the probiotics, call Kirkmans and ask what they

can do. How long does dry ice last? I'm guessing a few days.
