Guest guest
Dear Steph, If you just want it for your birds, a cheap little unit will work. They are all over ebay for a couple of hundred bucks. If you actually want health benefits for yourself, then it is a bird of a different color... Best of Health! Guest guest
Saul, what I want to know is, will a small ozone generater ozonate water just as much as the big one if you let it run a little longer? In other words, does a smaller more inexpensive water ozonater saturate water as much as it can be saturated if you leave it run for a few minutes? I already tried a small one on my bird and it did not do the job. It helped, but not enough. Would a bigger one saturate the water MORE or not? Guest guest
Steph, That's an easy one. The answer is, no. A medical generator has more punch to it and is more effective, but you're talking about a bird here. Do you really want to send thousands of $ on a bird? Short story. My daughter wanted some birds. I made her spend her money to get them along with the cage & toys. I'm not a bird lover. Think they sound pretty but are also very dirty. She bought a couple parrakeets. They sounded so pretty and were often quite amusing as they would compete with whoever was in the room talking. The more we talked, they more they sang. It was funny. Then one died. The other one quit singing and went into grieving. I actually saw this. My daughter bought another bird and the first bird perked up. Then one of those died and the other one got sick. I don't know what from, but my daughter was beside herself, and insisted we take the remaining one to the vet. We did. He said by the time a bird shows signs of being sick, they are really sick. But he have it antibiotics and told us to watch it. It died, too. In the mean time, we had spent more on the vet than the cost of the bird. Do you really want to do that? It's up to you. Even so, there's no guarantee even with a medical generator, but you could probably do a lot for yourself with one. Just my thoughts. Guest guest
---Steph, I grew up with birds and I love them and understand what you are going through. I no longer have them because I am too sick to take proper care of them and they do carry diseases and I am too susceptible to them. My question is where did you get your birds from? Have you asked if the place that you got them from have had similar reports than yours? Sometimes it is the place we get them from as I found out long time ago after losing a bunch of pets. Just a thought. cathy In oxyplus , " wanda85929 " <wanda85929@...> wrote: > > Steph, That's an easy one. The answer is, no. Guest guest
Dear Steph, No, it won't do it. Best of Health! Guest guest
Steph, As Saul stated, that answer is no. Ozone dissolution in H20 is directly proportional to the concentration of the gas. Medical ozone has a much higher concentration than ambient air generated O3, and only contains pure ozone and oxygen and no harmful byproducts. A rather excellent article on the topic can be found here: http://www.ozoneservices.com/faq/faq024.htm For your birds, the main problem is even if you ozonate the water with a medical device to optimal saturation, it will dissipate before the birds consumes enough for therapeutic value. I would consider hydrogen peroxide or a stabilized oxygen product in the drinking water and perhaps manufacturing your own very high strength silver colloid with a device like the Sota, which gives you control over the final concentration. good luck! Guest guest
Saul, you replied " No, it won't do it. " Is this in question to my " Would a bigger ozone device saturate the water more than a smaller one, or in question to my " will a smaller ozone device ozonate water just as much as a bigger one? " Because of my double question within one paragraph, your reply was confusing. Steph
Guest guest
Dear Steph, Ozone concentration in water is directly related to ozone concentration put out by the generator. A low output machine will not get to the concentration levels in water that a higher output machine will, regardless of how long you ran it. Best of Health! Guest guest
Thankyou Saul, that's more what I needed to know. For me, you have to keep it simple and sometimes do a lot of explaining before my sick and tired brain translates the message correctly 8:>[ Steph
