Guest guest
twin gear juicers like the green power have two metal augers that rotate so it acts like a juice press. i'm sure the norwalk juice press could do it too, but it's very expensive. juicers like the champion or omega will not work as well with coconut or leafy greens since they grind rather than press. coconut info for Guy Dirk, can you give me link on coconut oil for controlling lyme, this is an interesting comment I am not Dirk but you can find a lot of info on this website _http://www.healthin <http://www.healthinformationlibrary.com/coconut-oil.htm_> formationlibrary.com/coconut-oil.htm_ (http://www.healthin <http://www.healthinformationlibrary.com/coconut-oil.htm> formationlibrary.com/coconut-oil.htm) _http://www.coconut- <http://www.coconut-info.com/_> info.com/_ (http://www.coconut- <http://www.coconut-info.com/> info.com/) I get mine from Tropical Traditions and love it. _http://www.tropical <http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm_> traditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm_ (http://www.tropical <http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm> traditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm) Hope that helps Christel ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol. <http://www.aol.com.> com. Guest guest
Hi Dirk, I have a Greenstar Juicer. http://www.greenstar.com/special.asp The method by which it produces the juice is by auger type twin gear method. It crushes the whole fruit or vegetable between two propellers making the most of the fruit or vegetable and expels only the driest of pulp. It is an efficient method of juicing. Sasha -- RE: coconut info for Guy/lyme Can 'Mailer Daemon' explain what an 'auger juicer' is ? The dictionnary gives insufficient information .... I have had both - and still have my Green Power. > but it's very expensive. Yes, it is. It makes excellent juice for hard things like carrots, but softer things like fruits not as good - and you cannot juice grasses in it (effectively), and the green grasses are some of the most desired juices for healing. Get a Green Power. > juicers like the champion or omega will not work as well with coconut > or leafy greens since they grind rather than press. The NOrwalk is a combination grinder and press. You grind the pulp into a bag, then put the bag under a hydraulic press. The juice is outstanding - but it is very expensive, and has limited application. If I had lots of money, I'd have both, but given a choice, get the Green Power.
