Guest guest
Hi Gail, I didn't see this originally, but I can tell you that I have not had my mercury fillings removed because I have been nursing children or pregnant for the last 7 years. As soon as they are done sucking then I am having the filthy, disgusting things taken out of my head. I will then be using ozone as well as other things to chelate the mercury in my body from those fillings. For what it is worth, Saul is fairly certain that the on going problems I have had with my fight against candida and never seeming to get ahead of it in my head is because of my mercury fillings. I'll let Saul answer the rest, Sherri-Lee Re: Chelating heavy metals/Saul Saul, Thought I'd run this by you one more time. Hoping for an answer.... Guest guest
Hi Sherri-Lee, Now it makes perfect sense to me! I've always wondered why you don't have them removed and thought to myself 'well, Sherri-Lee got well and she still has her filling, I don't see why I can't,' But it hasn't happened. Looks like you, too, still struggle somewhat as you mentioned. I completely understand how putting the needs of your children first works. We are just now finishing helping our children through college and have met our obligation to them and they all are now self sufficient, functioning adults, which has now freed me up to be able to indulge in some of the things I've put on the back bunner for years. One of which is having my amalgam fillings removed. Still I've wondered if it would be worth it because some have had them removed with no improvement to their health, while others experience a miracle like healing, while others just something in between. For what it's worth, I read 81% of people with cfids have mercury toxicity. hmmmmm I'm looking forward to having mine out! Thanks for responding. Guest guest
I had my mercury fillings out a few years ago, I didn't notice any immediate improvement and only did a little chelation. But I can say I am doing better now than I was then and am definitely glad I am rid of them. >Hi Sherri-Lee, > >Now it makes perfect sense to me! Guest guest
Dear Gail, Sorry I missed this question, Gail. Mercury in an amalgam is already bound in a compound and is generally considered to be inert. However, we know that a small amount does leach from the fillings. It can migrate in the body and end up in places like the gut and the liver and the brain. often, candida that escapes from the gut will be attracted to the areas where mercury is pooled, since the immune system is suppressed at these sites. Ozone probably will not touch the mercury bound in the amalgam, but it will oxidize the mercury that has migrated and is 'free'. When mercury amalgams are removed, it is considered quite possible that mercury will be liberated in this process, migrate to sensitive areas and cause disruptions. This mercury can be 'gathered up' by EDTA, or oxidized by ozone and excreted. Other metals become deposited in specific areas of the body (rather than distributed equally) in the same way, in 'toxic dumps' in the body. These areas are commonly breast tissue in women and the prostate in men. This accounts for the greater incidence of cancers in these locations. Ozone will oxidize the metals in these locations, facilitating their excretion. Best of Health! Dr. Saul Pressman Re: Chelating heavy metals/Saul Saul, Thought I'd run this by you one more time. If so, then one should always have them removed if possible. Or does it gradually get all leached out and therefore not causing any problems???? gail

Guest guest
Dear Gail, Many people believe that it slowly leaches out over decades. So, the best bet is to get them removed, by experienced dentists. Best of Health! If it were me, I would start taking a lot of clay/charcoal slurries the day before having these removed, and continue for next few weeks with these on a daily basis - that should pull the lions share of any liberated mercury out (along with other nasties that may be lurking) with little negative impact on the body... Guest guest
, May I ask in what way you are feeling better now and what illness (if any) you are battling? Guest guest
Well, I wouldn't know where to start.
