Chelation Therapy?

Has anybody here tried using chelation therapy, using DMSA? A friend

sent me some info, and I wondered if there might be anybody here who's

tried it. The nearest chelation Dr is about 250 miles, so we'd have to

figure out a schedule and some alternatives to driving 500 miles round

trip. My son's going on 6, so that window is closing.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

Dear ,

Any chelating stirs my daughter up (she is an adult), so we are doing it very slowly with diet. She had a heavy metals test with 2 capsules of DMPS I think it was as the provoker. Man was it a siege! Five or six is a much better time.

There are many natural chelators like cilantro, garlic and onion, orange juice, vitamin C, seaweeds like kombu and wakame, just to name a few.

There are many home chelators online. An especially nice one is www.estremehealthusa.com where you can read so much about chelation and the heavy metals.

You can also go on the autism@... list where Andy Cutler is, who is a chelation expert for mercury, and has written books about it. (They're at amazon.com, and I'm sure he has a website. These families on the list know a lot about chelating.

I hope this is helpful. Chelating is a good thing.

Hi Francine!

Thanks so much! I stupidly mentioned to his teacher we were exploring

some avenues, and she CALLED me, all concerned that I didn't know what I

was doing, just leave things to them, yada yada. Well, she isn't his

mother, she isn't the one who decided to allow the vaccinations, and

just because she buys the line about we don't know why it's caused

doesn't mean I have to.

Thanks for the resources - I greatly appreciate them!

My pleasure . God save us from those who think they know how everything is and should be!

Wishing you well in this, and feel free to email me with any other questions, or post them here (although sometimes I don't get to all the list posts).
