Guest guest
You can find several websites if you google the phrase " silicone band. " One very good website is: _https://reminderband.com/_ (https://reminderband.com/) On websites such as this you can design your own band so that it has the exact message you need. Good Luck to You! Guest guest
Rogena, My son has a silver one. He has had it since he was about 3 years old. It is from medic alert. It never comes off, ever. after awhile he didn't even seem to notice. Hope it helps. Got to thinking my sons should be wearing them, just in case.... I looked at some velcro-type ones, but wondered if my 2 & 3 year olds would be able to rip them off. I have boys, so I can't have anything to " girly " looking. Any suggestions? -Rogena (Mom to 4 boys, including Cole -Partial Selective IgA Def, GERD, Asthma, Lactose-Intolerant, Unknown Food Allergen; & Flynn - Unknown PID, GERD, Asthma, unknown edocrine issues) Dawn Souza --------------------------------- Stay in the know. Guest guest
Rogena, I just got my daughter, Jade's in Saturday. I ordered from www.MedicAlert.org. Not only do you get jewelry, but you also get information stored, and an 800 # to call, listed on the jewelry. I ordered a bracelet ($7.95), shoetag (6.95) and 1 yrs service, it was $55, including shipping. Only certain conditions are allowed for this svc, PID isn't one, but asthma, food, and latex allergies, and autism are all conditions the program covers. You can keep info on file (even update it online), and if anyone needs to call the 800 # on the jewelry, they will have your child's info. They have many inexpensive designs (some very simple, just a colored emblem), but my daughter won't wear them, and we use the shoetag. It is a solid steel 1 inch long flat charm, with her name, 800#, " autistic, non verbal " and her ID code #. The other side has the medicalert emblem. They even have a program to pay for the service, and jewelry, if you are unable to. My fear with overly fancy jewelry, is that it may not be easily identified as a medical alert in an emergency. There are other companies that sell jewelry, but none I have found with the 800 #. Mom to Jade 2 1/2, autism (back on her supplements, and doing amazing), pituitary problems, and unidentified PID , 12 and quite healthy > Does anyone have a source for some good quality, yet attractive, > medical alert bracelets for kids?
