Guest guest
This is not going to answer your question but I have been freezing the bottles half full or so and then adding the enzymes along with filling up the rest of the bottle before he leaves for school. That way the rest of the frozen juice does not have to thaw before he gets all his enzymes. Betty
Guest guest
, Here is something from the archives on this topic. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Message 1368 of 5310 | Previous | Next [ Up Thread ] Message Index Msg # From: " Devin Houston " <houstonni@...> Date: Thu Jun 14, 2001 10:01 am Subject: Re: Snow ball cubes Once enzymes are in liquid solution, their activity can be prolonged much better if kept frozen and cold as possible. I don't have any firm data on exactly how much longer they would last, but I would estimate that they would be good for several days, maybe a week. You might want to play with the dosing (for example, mix such that one ice cube would equal one capsule? Or whatever is convenient) and make it slightly more stronger than if you were giving the enzyme right away, then you could take into account any decrease in activity over longer periods of time. > Hi everyone, > > How long do enzymes stay active if they are frozen in juice?
