I've noticed that my heart rate seems to have gone up from its normal 77-80 bpm to maybe 100. I'm thinking I've become deficient in some vital mineral, but will not be able to get it checked out until after the first of the year. > > Any suggestions for what it might be from this extremely knowledgeable group? > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thanks, Saul. I have Nature's Plus Mega-Stress Complex here, which is a lot of B's, Twinlab's Magnesium 400 mg, and Windmill's Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc, which has 500 mg of Magnesium. Can I do megadoses of these? Guest guest
You can't really over do magnesium, but you can over do calcium. It is best to take them seperately. Mag relaxes muscles and lowers bp. Cal tightens muscles and raises bp. Guest guest
Guess I should have been more specific. I'm talking more about lymphazing, not exercising. A simple health bounce would be sufficient without stressing the heart. I wish I could find the literature on it. gail - In oxyplus , " CountryGirl " <ruthful@p...> wrote: > > Rebounding is good, but if you are low in magnesium then exercise can be dangerous. Without enough mag to balance calcium you can have heart stress. Since her heart rate is already up, it would seem unwise to take a chance without first supplementing with mag. > > One of the reasons that athletes fall down dead from heart attacks, even tho they have strong hearts and clean blood vessels is lack of magnesium. > > I would supplement and then exercise and would not go the other way around.
