Hi Chris. There is only 1 friend who knows the truth, and they are not in the

same grade, but are in the same school. There are rumors ranging from being

homeschooled, to apparently someone texted her and said she heard she had died.

Nice, huh? She has not answered any calls or messages left for her, from

anyone other than her best friend. Someone left her a message that one of her

teachers didn't assign her a seat in his class when he did a new desk

arrangement.

She has missed 20 straight school days, as well as other days prior to that.

I think I will take your suggestion and ask her dean. I hadn't thought about

Hmmm...maybe she could say she tried homeschooling but decided she

needed an actual teacher or missed the atmosphere, friends, social

part.... My oldest son signed up for 2 online classes this last

semester and ended up dropping one to take later because he said he

really needed a teacher for that subject to keep him focused

(something like that; forgot the subject).
