Guest guest
Thank you everyone for the kind words about the loss of our horse. It means alot to me. We have only had Bart for the Summer. He was 25 years old. We adopted him from the theriputic riding program where rides. When I went out to feed him I found him on his side in the pasture struggling to get up. His back legs where paralized. The vet suggested it might be due to a stroke. 25 years is a long life for a horse. He had a good life and spent the last Summer here in green pastures being spoiled and loved. The best part is that I had two of my troubled teen Sunday School girls out to ride him on different occasions and they both had the time of their lives. That in itself made the grief of losing him worth while. I know what a horse can do for a girl's soul. Bart will be missed. Thankfully we still have our beloved mule and mini-donkey and they are such a joy. Jodi
