Guest guest Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 IgA deficiency has been known to occur 1 in 500. It is the more severe PID's that seem to be diagnosed rarely. As the deficiency takes on new components and parts of the immune system break down then the patient population gets smaller. But IgA deficiency is the most diagnosed.
