I am so relieved, and now hopeful. I really can't imagine doing this again in three weeks, I barely made it through yesterday because i had to sit for 5 hours and never move with him on my lap to keep him from twisting out his IV. thanks for asking. Once they got the IV in, I'm glad it went smoothly. If he were going to have side effects, it probably would have happened by now. Now that you've been through IVIG, maybe you can plan ahead for that five hours?? Maybe at least take lunch or snacks to keep yourself going.
