Were you the family in the IGLiving article a couple issues ago from Vegas?

My dd was thrilled to see her old Dr () in the article! Made me feel

a little better that maybe he knew what he was doing:) Didn't figure out

dd's immune issue exactly though, took a new guy who did his Fellowship over

at Children's Cinci to get the ball rolling. My dd misses UCLA, actually I

think what she misses is that fish tank over at registration:)

Actually, I think the article you are referring to may be the article

written by Dayna Flathammer. She also lived in Las Vegas, but I

think she has moved. I also wrote an article in the same issue, but

I don't think I mentioned Dr. ....so it was likely Dayna's

that you are thinking of. We also have Dr. as our

immunologist and he is quite the person...we love him because he is

wonderfully understanding, thorough, open minded, silly, odd,

loving....incredible with the girls (who are usually quite wild in

his presense). I am not sure where we would be if it were not for

him.

I am happy for you that you have found a physician who was able to

diagnose your child. It is such an uphill struggle and one that it

is a releif to be at place where you feel that you are headed in the

right direction.
