Guest guest
I just want to let everyone know that Brennan has started his homebased preschool, and its working out well. I WISH I had known about this option when Donovan was smaller!! Maybe he wouldnt have gotten behind. This is right thru the local headstart program, and its free, even though we make over the financial limit......if there are vacancies, they take children with health problems even if they make too much. He's at the table right now, working with his teacher. She brings everything with her, and leaves work for him to do thru-out the week. They work for an hour and a half each week, same day and time each week. Even when he is sick, he can still do his school this way, and I dont have to worry about other kids making him sick. Or his food allergies or meds. I just thought I'd toss this idea out there for anyone interested. I wish I had known about it before. This also takes some pressure off of me, to do all his schooling myself, with having the other three kids, drs appts, IVIG, their school stuff, and therapies.
