Follow-up on my nervous about med change tonight post

Thanks for all the responses. Since the doctor changed from Celexa to

Prozac the day I posted and we had to give the meds that night

(Thursday), we went ahead and did it. We did notice some agitation,

but thankfully not horrible. My son has now taken 2 doses of 40 mg

Prozac. I'm noticing some subtle changes. He's starting to have a

little more focus and seems a tiny bit less ritualistic. However my

husband thinks it's more from reducing the dose (we've been going down

from 70 to 60 then 50 Celexa) than from changing from one SSRI to

another. Who knows. That's one thing that makes all this so

difficult--never quite knowing for sure whether it's the natural

progression of the ocd (waxing/waning), or a change in the meds that

is causing a behavioral change. Just complaining. So I guess I would

say the change was a little bumpy so far but I hope it is smoothing

out. I truly appreciate you all taking the time to help. It's a huge
