Thanks, for the information Terri.

After we last emailed, I asked our infusion nurse about switching to the

sof-set infusion needles. She was adamant that the metal needles were

better because they were shorter and easier to insert. Since only

has them in for less than 2 hours, she didn't feel it was worth the

change. Since I've been fighting enough battles lately, I let that one go.

I'm thinking you're right about the histamine reaction and just living

with it. I'll pass on your experience to him.

As for an improvement in his health ... we haven't seen anything yet.

It's only been 5 infusions and I think it will take a long time. I

managed to learn the procedure, however, without a nervous breakdown --

for which I am grateful.
