Guest guest
steph, i agree 110% with that but it's undeniably amazing what problems do go away when those technique's are used. and it sounds like you've definatly had/have your share of emotional problems. unhappy, sad, depressed = negative..... happy, cheerful = positive :-) wes Re: Re: ozone therapy and CFS Yes Wes, I am doing the EFT currently. I lost my paper work however, so have to get busy and look for it. I will see if I can click onto that particular link you sent. I don't have much faith in EFT to be able to help a lot with mercury, lead and arsenic poisoning though if this be part of my problem. It may however help with the low adrenals I am sure! I just started it so no results as yet, then I lost my paper work when hubby went to the hospital and after that I got company from out ot town. Everything went out of sync for that week so am still doing catch up. Steph
Guest guest
Hi Gail, Thank you so much for sharing with me, and the rest of the list members, all that you've gone through and accomlished-- and your very considerate advice. I'm saving this post. There is much here to refer to often. It really must have taken alot of time and energy to just write this. Makes me appreciate your kindness all the more, knowing how tiring it can be. You're so right about the stress. It's been a tough road to do the prioritizing this year as circumstances occured beyond our control. I'll post a brief explanantion: I caught a virus or flu in Feb. 2005 that led to pneumonia and fluid on the heart. Had all the allopathic ct scans and tests and the only flag that arose was a recurrance of the epstein-barr virus (Had mono at 17). At any rate after a time the fluid on the heart turned to severe perricarditis, with enormous fluid retention, multiple organ failure and had to have emrgency open heart surgery to remove the perricardium which became hard like a walnut. Prior to surgery they found I also had hashimotos and put me on synthroid. A few months later after working hard in rehab and doing much better I caught bronchitis and developed severe copd. (Am now on disability for that). A few months into treatment I was starting to get better and we had to have our roof re-shingled. This is the event that w/o belaboring you and the rest of the members that turned into what has now been a 1 1/2 nightmare where the roof has been redone twice and each time created more and additional damage including interior water damage to one room. We've got the state att. gen. involved and a home inspector who's been working with us. But the company, a national one that guarranteed their work, has been a nightmare to deal with. I have two lung finction tests done prior to the work and two since. The prior tests showed marked improvment. The latter a major relapse and one that led me to be accepted on disabililty. Also, developed inguinal hernias in the process that had to do with having to exert myself a few times due to construction issues. Where trying to resolve the home issues. The companies now offered to pay for the repairs which are now re-roof #3 and mold/water remediation and much more. They offered to pay for health compensation within reason. So we're trying to figure it all out. In spite of it all. How can you put a price on what they've done? We're trying to find the just route and not have to take this to court. I am very very grateful as I sit here with my wife watching football and me typing this post. I'm still here. Life is a grand gift that I've lerned to appreciate. In the midst of the nonsense I do try to pace myself, but often just have to suck it all up. Adrenals were found to be a problem as aof the ALS test last spring. The doc thinks I probably had adrenal fatigue since birth and have had hashimtos for at least five years and maybe longer. It's been a long road already. And I do get down about it here and there, but I am in for the long haul and feel grateful, very grateful for the opportunity to still be alive and grateful for help from people like you. Your achievements and dedication to your health and well being are really something. Thank you. Beleive it or not that was the very, very brief version! lol! Sincere Regards, wanda85929 <wanda85929@...> wrote: Hi , Wow, You know if we don't learn how to handle stress, it really can kill. It's all a learning thing for each of us. Some have really strong adrenals to begin with and do better, but others really have to learn about the condition first of all, and then learn how to repair it. Guest guest
Thanks again for the insightful and encouraging feedback, Gail. I think most everyone who's been ill on this list can relate to what you had to say. I do think that the assumptions other can make about another's reasons for wellness or not are indeed tricky and no one indeed really knows what another person is really dealing with. But whether it is a lack of faith, or a desire for keeping the illness, weaker immune function from prior toxic exposure, heridity, etc., the real challenge when you are ill is not to take on any guilt or blame, but to try to treat the situation with enough compassion and objectivity to just try and figure it out as best and methodically as you can without fear or judgement. As far as those who may blame us, that could be resulting from their own fears about the same thing happening to them or just a frustration/fear some people have about being around someone who is ill. This is a hard one, but even there I try to have compassion for that person as well. I agree too that all of this can be a great character builder. I've been learning a gret deal about many things. And the ups and downs of how we may feel in the process are all a part of what it is to be a human being. I think this may be where the spiritual side of life, whether you choose to see it as faith or character, compassion or courage, can make a great difference for each of us. Thanks again for sharing. These are initimate thoughts and feelings. I do appreciate it. The mysteries of life are just to grand for my grasping. The faith healers say it's because you don't have enough faith, while the secularists say it's because your problems are benefiting you in some way and you don't truly want deliverance. Either way, it's a finger pointing answer one so often gets when deliverance does not come. I wonder if they were in different shoes and found themself seeking healing, while having it delayed, if they might be singing a different tune. And I wonder if they have any idea how noncomforting some of the comments are when one is going through extremely hard times.
