Dear Suzanne,

I think it does.

Best of Health!

Does H2O2 react with mercury?

Does anyone have any information on using H2O2 as a mouth wash? And

does it react with metal in your mouth?

Thank you,

Suzanne

I would think it does as the H2o2 works by breaking down to H2O + O which would

be a very active form of oxygen (monovalent oxygen) Therefore it should react

with mercury. However, if it does as I presume, it should form mercury oxide

which the body should have no, or very little, trouble getting rid of it.

Certainly better than the metallic mercury coming from the fillings. Just my

thoughts, no proof!

Best wishes and much love, Ken

Do you know where you read that about mercury fillings? I'm looking

for a reference. I looked all over the internet but haven't found one

yet.

Suzanne that was a long time ago. Someone on this list was heavy into

chelation of mercury and very knowledgeable. I can't remember her name. Maybe if

you

check the archives from a few years back.

Or check Andy Cutlers book

" Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and treatment " by Andy Cutler.

Sorry I can't be of more help

I found some some stuff adding the word " corrosive " to the search.

metal in there.

Thanks again,

Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,

In addition to what has been discussed regarding h202 reacting with mercury,

all oxygen products weaken the enamel of teeth. For some people this

causes

sensitivity in the teeth. I recommend, if a person does do some sore of

oxygen

whitening, either h202, or ozonated water, or Crest whitening strips,

etc. that they follow the

process with brushing their teeth with coral calcium. Gently, of

course, and perhaps a little

fulvic acid to help re mineralize the enamel.

Blessings
