Guest guest
Greetings, Dale! It is great to hear from you and I am so happy that you are back. I would like to ask for your opinion about something but it is not urgent. I am so sorry to hear that Katy is not in the same health that she was in right after stopping IVIG. We were all praying for a miracle. Her story serves as a cautionary tale for our own. Blessings and prayers to you and yours, mom to Dani (5) CVID

Guest guest
from dale, Hi group -- I need the phone number for A.C.C.E.S.S. for a family needing to fight for disability. All my stuff is packed away right now to make room for my mother. I know that number is in the list of resources provided by IDF. Someday it will get unpacked -- but they need that number today. I'll call IDF tomorrow if someone doesn't respond soon. Thanks! In His service, dale

Guest guest
Dale, I'm so glad that you are back. I'm sorry to hear that your father has passed away. I'm glad that Katy was able to attend the funeral. I was hoping that she was in good health, but I have been concerned about her. I will pray for Katy. I think it would be very hard without health insurance. Thank you for telling us how Katy is doing. I worry about this for my son. He is in college now, but we are thankful that this year he chose to attend a good local college and live at home. One course he is taking is about career choices and planning. Choosing a major is a big decision for him. Congratulations on your first grandchild! I'm so excited for you and the new parents. Guest guest
Dale, Sorry to hear about your father. I am glad you have your mother with you. I was hoping that Katy was doing well off IVIG. I am sorry to hear she is not. When we met her in FL, she was so full of life. I don't like to think of her so sick. I hope she is able to start treatments again. This is every parent's nightmare. We are praying for your entire family. I also wanted to let you know that Ashton is doing really well with her anxiety. The counselor and meds are really helping. She has passages marked in the Bible that keep her going when times get hard. Guest guest
--- UGH! we've been sick. Brennan woke up throwing up on Sunday, just as we were leaving for church(obviously, we stayed home). I have NEVER--and I have four kids!---seen a kid get so sick, so fast. by Sunday afternoon, he was vomiting every hour or two, by Sunday night, he was telling me he was going to die. I tried everything I could think of....sips of water, crushed popsicles, saltines. Nothing stayed down. Monday morning, he said he had thrown up his muscles, he couldnt move anymore. I took him in Monday morning and the family dr sent us directly to ER. They admitted him, he was extremely dehydrated. They kept asking me how long he had been that sick, evidently wondering how he got that sick in just one day. He was screaming with stomach and throat pain. by Monday night, he spiked a temp, but finally, after two huge bags of IV fluid, peed. I mean.......for the first time since Sunday! We came home last night. He is able to eat now, and is drinking some. He still looks sick around his eyes--you know what I mean?---and is pale. His temp is 100.1 today. I started keeping better records, and am noticing that last month, the week before infusion, he came down with a really bad sinus infection. This month, its this stomach bug. Im going to keep doing this, and if this trend continues, Im going to ask his dr if maybe we should move his infusions up to every three weeks. I feel so sorry for him, he has been so pitiful(he is five). He has IVIG on Friday, hopefully that will help him out. valarie In , Dale Weatherford <dale@...> wrote: > > Haven't gotten any mail lately and wondering why it's so quiet.
