My dd, age 10 was diagnosed with OCD almost 2 years

ago. She also suffers from Asperger's Syndrome. It is

hard to know what is the OCD and what is Asperger's

syndrome. She also has been doing worse over the past

2-3 months. I also feel frustrated and discouraged. I

do know however that this disease waxes and wanes and

so, I'm hopping for some relief like you. She

currently takes only 50 mg of zoloft. Over the past 2

years we've had a multitude of drugs and different

combinations with varying degrees of success, which

never lasted unfortunately. She was doing well on

zoloft 50mg alone the middle of August until about the

middle of October, when it seems things started

getting much worse. Her pyschologist actually

mentioned that the look on her face when she witnessed

an episode shortly after her therapy session, looked

almost like a manic look. There was another time or to

she has mentioned bi-polar symptoms, although she

said, she's not ready to make that diagnosis yet. My

dd has also become increasingly agressissive, hitting,

kicking and throwing things. Do other OCD'rs rage like

this????

Hoping that your little one does better soon and you

experience a time of relief. This does get tiring

quickly.

PS. I had changed her, or rather the pharmasist had

changed her to generic zoloft about 3 weeks ago and it

does seem she's been worse, something I've heard

others say here. I put her back on name brand zoloft 2

days ago, so maybe that will make a difference.
