Dear ,

I bought one to see how it was done.

Basically a brute force approach -- put enough current into it, and you can

break apart the water molecule.

The resulting oxygen was converted into ozone by the same process -- lots of

current.

Couple of problems with this:

- the ozone that comes off has no pressure to it. It just wafts into the air

after passing through a water reservoir. So it can be blown around a room,

but there is no way to use it for therapeutic applications, unless you

wanted to rig up a pump that could handle ozone, which would be maybe a

thousand dollars.

- massive amount of heat generated by using all that current. The unit could

not run longer than half an hour without approaching melt down, even though

there were three cooling fans.

- hydrogen vented off into the air without any control...

potentially an explosive problem....

Not very smart technology.... certainly not competitive with a reliable

oxygen concentrator.

Dear ,

This is a different company name, but it is the same technology.

It is strange the way that a design idea over there will be marketed by

(seemingly) different companies (seemingly) in competition with one another.

I wonder if it is because the technology is worked out in a government or

university lab and then licensed out to various companies. That would

explain seeing the same stuff coming from two (seemingly) different groups.

Dear ,

Exactly, it often looks as if for a product in China, there is only one

factory, real big one, where they make large amounts of this product. Then you

can find separate companies selling the same product, in such a way as if it all

is orchestrated from above. For cheap product you might find dozens of companies

selling the same product, for more expensive technological products you find a

few with exactly the same product.

Funny thing is also that the dear Chinese merchants always ask me if I want

one container of the product or several containers.

I was researching to import a product that cost 30 USD in China, they ask me

if I wanted to import 1800 pcs in one container or if I wanted more containers.

I made it clear to them that I actually did not need more then 10 pieces. In

the end they settled for sending me 30, absolute minimum amount. To speak with

Oblix " funny these Chinese "

.
