Mouth Sores and IVIG

I hate to even post that the mouth sores are at bay for now because

I'm probably setting him up for another round. statred getting

the mouth sores several weeks after I switched him to big boy

toothpaste (yes it contained SLS). I researched that that causes

problems sometimes so I switched back to toddler toothpaste for now.

He also got the steroid paste that really helped. I see the signs of

a few new ones coming but I just keep up the paste to stop them.

IVIG. gets treatment every 6 weeks now. He started at every 4

weeks and had his levels tested so we were able to move it out. His

extension was based on his weight. By weight he should have been

getting 6 and the IVIG comes in 5 or 10 so they gave him 10.

We are hoping for some conclusive resukts from this last round of

tests at the first of Aug. We will see.

What do you mean by 4 or 6. is this the amount in a package or the amount in

each infusion? I am so new at this I need further explaination. Let me know if

there is any good sites to go to as well.
