Guest guest
Valarie - a doctor board certified in Allergy and Immunology can treat a PID patient. What you want to look for is someone with an established PID client base and clinical experience with PID's. I'm afraid that practicing strictly in the immunology field isn't very lucrative. Many immunologists maintain an allergy practice so that it will pay the bills. But some do have clinical experience in immunology also. I would hate to lump all docs with AI boards as unsuitable for PID care. Due diligence is used to distinguish if an AI doc has the experience with PID needed.
