Dear Bill (guessing that's your name),

Thank you for being so thoughtful to share. I went to look at it, and found it a bit negative with some heavy comments about dying. I think, to help our kids, and each other, we need to keep our thought on life, right here and now. So, it came to me to share my daughter's and my book a little more fully.

It's called A Radiant Life (and if you want to put that in at amazon.com, it brings it right up). http://www.amazon.com/Radiant-Life-Food-Presence-Love/dp/159800686X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-4773098-1161653?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1185071057 & sr=8-1

It's not hard to read, and people seem to be really liking it, and inspired by it. A Radiant Life is about the various ingredients that have come to me -- from the Presence of Love -- that enable me to have a sense of humor all most all the time and this abiding Joy that has appeared in the 39 years that I've been with my daughter, who has autism.

It is rare for me to be depressed more than one day a year, if that much, and not because life is easy! It's because this Love is with me -- and ALL OF US -- Guiding and guarding us. We have had so many miracles! I want to share how possible it is to feel Peace and be happy, especially in a life where friends have said to me, emphatically: "I wouldn't want to be you!"

There are recipes for how to improve your experience of life, as well as your diet; how to redo the past for a happier, less addictive/reactive present; how to let go of upsets; as well as some interesting and provocative new ways to look at ourselves and quantum physics (made easy!).

Because much of it came from Guidance, I enjoy reading it as much as others do.

To me -- given all the challenges and loss in our lives -- it seems a wonder to be able to be so happy and peaceful.

Just as an example: last night, my daughter -- who got well from autism and had a relapse at 20 from pesticide exposure bringing us almost back to starting all over again -- had a meltdown of giant proportions, with lots of violence, keeping me up till about 1:00 and then waking me every hour or so till I got up at 5:00. I'm looking at my patience and calm and cheer with wonder and gratitude.

This is what God is about.

Love,

Francine
