Guest guest
After almost four years of trying to find out if our son has AS, we will finally see a specialist in October. We have been to psychiatrists who think there is nothing wrong with him to others who think is not good at all. He wasted an entire school year last year, not one credit, used to be an A student, but refuse to sit on ''regular''schoolbenches. It has been a nightmare... and still is. He investigated maths to the core, physics, now it is something else. He is unconventional, has specific interests, and other million things who made us think he was AS. He is absolutely bright, genius like in many ways but... Well, October is the month of knowing if we were mistaken all that time or not, he will be tested. Hope he will want to go. He will be 16 in mid-october,so let's hope it will be before. I am crossing my fingers big time. I have been so sad and so discouraged. He does not want to go back to school.
