Guest guest
Valarie: Ya know, I was considering mono because she has these HUGE lymph nodes and has had them for months. But with the recent talk of mono on the board, it seems like you just get whacked by mono, sooooo lethargic. is not that tired at all. She looks off, but nothing like what I'd expect with mono. I dunno. I'll ask about all the possibilities at her re-check next week. The culture from Friday should be back today. Meanwhile, it's almost 8:30am and she's still asleep -- I have been worrying about her airway since her uvula looks swollen. Looks like another tense day! (mom to , age 7, dairy intolerant-related GERD -- currently has polysaccharide antibody def, previously had transient IgG, IgA, t-cell & other defs... and also to Kate, age 3!, more dairy intolerant but very healthy!) Guest guest
, Just my experience with mono ... I was tired, but no completely exhausted. I had a sour stomach for weeks. The dr. was shocked when it came back as mono. I was about 20 when I had it, and though lethargic, no one believed I had mono because I still continued on anyway (partly because I am stubborn!!). I sure hope she is feeling a LOT better soon!!!!! Meg, mom to 14yo, asthma, alelrgies, growth hormone def 10yo, asthma, allergies, bowel issues Annie 7yo, asthma, allergies, hopefully hanging on to those pnuemo antibodies!
