Guest guest
I have only posted a few times, so Im not sure if anyone remembers Olivias story. Basically, she had good IG levels, a lower than normal T-cell count (not dramatically bad) and they said that appear to be fully activated. She has horrible vaccine titers..she is non existant to Diptheria and is considered almost non existant to Tetnus, Hep B, Hib and Pneumovax and that is after being revaccinated. She has just started IVIG last week. As Im waiting for the immunologist to call I thought I could pick your brains. Why is it that the only 2 vaccines that she did mount a response to and keep is the MMR and the C-pox (after 2 doses). The only thing I see in common with the 2 are that they are live vaccines, but then if she has a lower T-cell count she should of not made titers to those correct? We are going to be seeing an immunologist from Milwaukee Childrens when Olivia goes out there for Motility testing. Im wondering if there is further testing we should look into immunology wise...any thoughts? mommy to Olivia (4) PID, RAD, fat malasorption, too many GI problems and FTT __________________________________________________
