Call to action: Are you having trouble getting your IVIG?

We recently asked you to contact your elected representatives about IVIG

(immune globulin or gammaglobulin).

Now, we have an even more important call to action:

If you, or your physician, are having trouble obtaining IVIG, the FDA needs

to hear from you as soon as possible.

Patients and healthcare providers across the country are reporting

difficulties acquiring IVIG, and at least five patients have died as a

direct result of lack of access to IVIG.

The FDA has indicated that there is not enough evidence to declare an IVIG

shortage, so they cannot yet take action to resolve it. But you can help by

letting the FDA know about your experience.

Again, if you are having trouble obtaining IVIG, please contact the FDA at

once and share your story with them.
