Guest guest
morning all, since i missed cardio yesterday and i had cardio dance for today decided to bring the challenge with a dancey workout. i picked cathe's step moves b/c i heard this one was dancy and its a virgin workout, so two birds with one stone. this was not as hard to pick up on as i thought. if you are familiar with cathe then this should be no problem. i didn't find her cueing to be off to much(as per other reviews) but she does throw moves at you quick in some cases. i believe there are 3 combos and they are broken down enough for you to get them but the workout just keeps rolling so you never stop. you then run through each combo at the end of the workout a few times each(not like in rhythmic step where she some how interweaves all the combos). that is where it was killer for me,the pace not the choreography.there isn't to much impact some cases you do some corner knees with a hop but its not a must do of course and doesn't take away from the workout at all. i actually found the low impact but fast past pretty challenging for me. and i do HIIT runs and say i am having fun LOL. this was a fun workout a few times i thought i tripped it up but was able to catch on pretty quick.sure does pack a lot of choreography in the 45 min.of course a common complaint about the series is the cool downs. there is a VERY short one but take more if needed. she says she did this to be able to keep the workouts under an hour while giving you more choreography and workout time. even if she had longer cool downs i would probably take a little more time b/c that is just how my body responds. doesn't to me take away from the dvd(although i would charge what she is charging per dvd for what you get) this one was worth a bit of the wait i found it different enough but nothing over my head. kassia
