Guest guest
I was jonesing to use my new Reebox gym step so I went with Body Step 57. What a BLAST! I was drenched in sweat at the end and was riding a cardio high for sure. The choreography wasn't too tricky at all! The moves went right with the music, as do most Les Mills workouts, so you would do one set of steps for the chorus, another for the other parts of the lyrics. The first few sections were normal step sections then after that for the next 4 sections or so you turn your step like a surf board to 12:00 and 6:00 and do drills - again, easy choreography but very intense! Toe did just fine but of course I modified on a couple of things but not much, really. At the end there are tricep pushups using the step and some easy abs. LOVED THIS ONE and would like to do again soon! GREAT music, as usual! Highlights for me were a dance version of Branigan's Self Control, Tribal Dance, and a different version of the Cha Cha Slide. After that I did around half of Keli Flexibility for the Inflexible, a foam roller dvd. She moved too fast from one exercise to another so I kept pausing the dvd to do more rolling over tight spots, so even though I only did 15 minutes or so of the dvd, I did 30 minutes of doing the stretches. I really like this one a lot! I wish there were more foam roller dvd's out there, it's such an effective way to smash out the knots! Going to my sister's later and my whole family, is going to work out! I'm bringing them a copy of 's Walk and Jog and after that I'm going to make them do abs, my own routine I do in class sometimes, along with lower back and lower body stretches.
