Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Well, my plans for Kundalini were kaput as there were too many people up in my house to distract me this morning and yoga/Kundalini needs a certain amount of inward focus! Instead, I went with Classical Stretch 2007 TV series and did the Anti-Aging # 2 workout on Disc 3. This one is a favorite of mine, it seems to hit all of my tight spots. I really need to add more CS in - I'm running out of chiropractic benefits on my insurance, and I can't afford to pay out of pocket for tons of chiro visits (maybe one a week or one every two weeks) - I can maybe do some occasional visits and can pay for some out of my Flex Spending Account. CS works well for me and often gives me the same or similar benefits as chiro visits (but without the cracking and popping!) Here's my check in for this week - I'm pretty happy that I "survived" Jillian - although I'm contemplating maybe doing 2 days of Jillian alternated with a 3rd day of something else. I don't want to stress out my back or anything, although I have been feeling ok with this plan, so maybe I don't need to --- I guess I can play it by ear. Sunday - Shred Level 1, 2 mIles of (Walk Slim), Annette Fletcher Stretch, Push-up circuit in the p.m. Monday - Shred Level 1, Classical Stretch Episode, 12 flights of stairs at work Tuesday - No More Trouble Zones, Push-up Circuit in the p.m. Wed - Shred Level 1, 2 Miles of (from the"pink" Weight Loss walk), Stretch (?) Thurs - Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism, Part of a CS Episode Friday - Quick Trouble Zones, Rapid Results Pilates, Yoga for Beginners (all on Ex. TV) 13 flights of stairs at work Sat - CS Episode I see that Miranda Esmonde-White (Classical Stretch) has a new DVD out - it sounds good. I will probably get it at some point. Right now I'm thinking I want Jillian's "Biggest Winner" set (Total Fitness DVD has it plus the 10% off and the new CS. Although I see issues with Jillian's form on certain exercises, and, I have certain issues with her personality, so far I really like the design of her workouts - I like the circuit format and I like that I can go at my own pace and watch my form. For form, I justdo what is best for me and my body. I noticed that her lower back is very tight which I think compromises her form on certain exercises, her hamstrings also seem extra tight. She should actually be concerned, as, speaking from experience, this adds up to trouble! I guess it isn't that big a deal though since for a lot of her workouts she walks around "coaching" rather than "doing" Anyway - hope everyone has a good day! Take care, DonnaDonna
