Guest guest Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 Well I got 9.75 hours in this week, and my eating was pretty good except for today. Aunt Flo is scheduled to show up any minute now and this is the fattest part of the month for me. I didn't find a sub for my class tomorrow, so since I have to teach with a reinjured broken toe I picked the most toe friendly round I could find, Round 8 (we are currently on R38). I like this one a lot because like the Tae Bo Total basic 2 I reviewed, it's very intense without being too tricky, at least by today's Turbo Kick standards. I miss my students and I love having a full class with new people - new people are often the most fun because you get to see them become wowed by it all. On Monday there will be 4 of us at Studio LouLou, me, Marina, my sister Steph and her DH, Marc. I'm thinking we'll do Firm It Up because I need to do this at least one more time to fulfill my rotation requirement but also because there are no lunges (= toe friendly) and also there's no equipment needed and with 4 people this is convenient. We will warm up with an easy one mile WATP and cool down with gentle, restorative yoga. Tressia came over today to do the first half of Turbo Kick with me. She hadn't exercised in awhile because she's been sick or out with a back injury. She did so well today, I'm so proud of her! She has improved tremedously since I first worked out with her. She asked me if I would take her measurements and I was very honored she would ask me. I said sure and what the heck, take my bust and gut measurement while you're at it. So now in addition to the scale I have some inches to work with.
