, what kind of exercises do you do on your rebounder? How big is it? i.e. what are its measurements? When I have high impact in a w/o I just modify it so it becomes low impact. Some high impact stuff I can do but since my ankle is still swollen I want to wait until the swelling is completely gone before I do any more high impact. The only high impact I do is jumping for the ball during volleyball and afterwords my ankle swells more. It's been 2 weeks with no volleyball (closed for holidays) so I'm hoping it won't swell tomorrow night when I play...fingers crossed!Going through volleyball withdrawal, which is similar to your kickboxing or Noel withdrawal...! Thanks Kathy! Now that Marina and I have done Tear It Up finally I won't worry too much about Tone and Shape :) I'm trying to do all of these at least twice, though Marina and I did SIU and RIU three times each. What I have left to do to finish this rotation, and this is more for myself than anyone else:

Tear It Up 1xShape It Up 2xTone It Up 2xFirm It Up 2xTotal Body Solution 1xCardio Core Express 1xCardio Sculpt Express 2xKeep It Up 2xAfter this I'm thinking a Shaun T rotation since Marina and I both like him so much, so Hip Hop Abs mixed with Insanity. I'm finding the rebounder to be most wonderful with high impact workouts, so I think I will be able to do Insanity no problem as long as I can modify with the rebounder, otherwise my plantar fasciitis foot would NOT be able to handle them.

I saw imitation rebounders at Fred's (Krogers) for $29.95. I highly recommend them for workouts that can harm one's feet or knees! It's really been a lifesaver for me!

Hi Jen,I use the rebounder for high impact movements from workouts such as Cathe's Imax workouts and even with Tony's medicine ball workout the other day.  Basically anything with lots of jumping jacks, plunges, jump tucks, etc.  Insanity has a lot of high impact stuff in it, but I think one could modify quite a bit on the rebounder and still get a super workout.

I don't know the exact measurements but you can find mini trampolines all over the place, Wallmart, etc and also at garbage sales and thrift stores.  I' guessing it stands one foot off the ground and is maybe 3.5 feet in diameter?  You can store them easily behind a sofa.

I don't think it's a good idea to be rebounding with a swollen ankle or a broken toe :/ like you, just patiently waiting it out to heal.  Lotsa pilates in my near future!Hope this helps!
