Ok, y'all..Went to Larry's with my kids. Anyone in this area (Arkansas) knows

Larry's is a wonderful pizza buffet....and I did damage:(. But I got home

rested a minute. Did 40 mins on the treadmill & TJ Ab workout. I burned 504

calories. I had a blue lagoon smoothie from Tropical smoothie for dinner. I

can't do that again. This morning I completed TJ Cardio Party. I'm feeling

great. Just made it to work. Have a great day everyone!!

following up on my own post... by "zone" in this case, I mean mentally. I can get in a mental zone where I'm working really hard and just not paying attention to anything but THIS moment, that's what "zone" I'm talking about.

Yesterday & today

Not sure I posted yesterday's workout, don't think so, but I did Super Cardio again. I think this is my 4th time through it? I was distracted during it and found it a lot harder because I couldn't stay in my zone. If I'm thinking about how hard a workout is ("when will we be done jumping??") instead of just following along, in my zone, then it is harder and that's where I was yesterday. I'm not sure if it was my mood but I decided Carissa's cueing stinks and that's a good part of why I find her sections hard to follow. I'll have to look more closely on a better day though to be sure. I also realized that was her in the final stretch. The first few times I did this I couldn't figure out who this person acting like a sex kitten was (I thought they'd thrown in some unnamed instructor for some reason) and I realized it was her. I like her better just doing aerobics. I had a TERRIBLE time with Jen's crazy dancey jumping moves towards the end too but just kept right on jumping in my own special way. I still can't stand Dale's sections either but for some reason, I still really like this workout!

Today was Field Day at DD's school so I was walking all over the playground/school grounds/school or standing around working with kids at games and other activities from 8:45 until 4. I ran a game with water balloons but since we used regular balloons (the water balloons kept popping as we tried filling them last year) they didn't pop well and we ended up with a gazillion leftover water balloons. We thought about letting the kids have a free for all with them but decided that was looking for trouble so a few of us cut open and/or threw the rest really hard to pop them (at least 100-200 of them) at the end. That was kind of a workout throwing the balloons as hard as I could against the ground! So, no video/formal workout but I was very active all day!

Tomorrow I have to work in the morning, come home for a quick lunch then get DD's hair and makeup done and get her into her costume for dress rehearsal for her dance recital. We should, in theory, be done early enough that I *might* be able to sneak in a workout afterwards but we'll see. I have it planned as a rest day because I expected to be too nutso but if I can, I want to do something.

I'm exhausted now and off to bed. Gotta be up at 5:30 for work tomorrow!

HI ,

I know exactly what you mean about being in a "zone" during a workout and being distracted always makes it messy!Donna
