Tonite Studio LouLou was packed with 4 of us: Marina, my sister Steph and her DH, Marc.We warmed up with a virgin Walk Away the Pounds, 's Walk Slim 4 Mile Walk.  Basically you do the usual walking stuff followed by an interval burst, kind of like a diluted turbo with jogs in place, quickly walking up and back, etc. We did 30 minutes' worth to get warmed up.  It had a nice pace, no weights, belts, balls or gimicks were used.

Next we did a virgin P90X workout - Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps. I thought I had done this one before but I was wrong!  Tony was comparatively mellow in this one, and there were a lot of fun creative exercises!  I swiped this list of 'em from Video Fitness:

Slow motion pushups

In and out shoulder fly

Chair dips

Plange pushups

Pike Pushups

Side Triceps Rise

Floor Flys (side moving pushups)

Scarecrows

Overhead tricpes extensions

Two speed Pushups (you do 4 fast pushups then 3 slow motion pushups)

Y Shoulder Press

Lying Triceps Extension

Side to Side Pushup

Pour Flys for Shoulders

Tricep Extensions

One arm pushups

Weighted Shoulder circles

Throw the Bomb

Plyo or Clap Pushups

Slow mo throw

Tricep Extension

One arm balance pushups (do a pushups then rotate so that one of your palms faces the ceiling)

Fly row press

Dumbell cross body blowsI substituted some chest flys and presses for the pushups that weren't toe friendly, but there one where you use a paper plate you go down, as you come up you drag the plate in, and do out.  You do a bunch one side, then a bunch on the other.  There were quite a few exercises I hadn't done exactly like the ones we did tonite, which made it really fun for me!  My favorite was lying supine and doing actoss the chest punches with weights.

After that we did the 40 minute Evening Tranquility practice from Essential Yoga Flow for Every Body, which was all stretches, most of which are super for the lower back!  This is what my body needed more than anything.  This Body Wisdom dvd features  the well hung (oops, did I just say that?  Bad !) and the lovely southern voice of Barbara Benaugh.

Tomorrow is the excruciating Leg Day with Noel.   I'm both excited and scared!
