Guest guest
Hi all, Been brewing KT for a few months now and finally have the fermentation/flavoring/fermentation thing down pat....or so I thought. In my last batch I had four one gallon containers going. I get approximately 5 GT Dave's (or Grolsch) bottles from each batch, so each batch I flavored with something different. I use black raspberry powder daily for cancer treatment and thought, hmm, I'll throw some of that into the KT. The other batches were mango juice, lemon juice and key lime. All the flavors had perfectly normal fizz - except for the black raspberry powder. I can barely remove the bottle from the fridge and open it up without it spurting foam like a KT volcano. So, the question is, shorter secondary ferment on that flavor? (By the way, it's *delicious*.) Thoughts? Dawn Marie
