Guest guest
Boo thanks. I will be on anti-B's if we have to go the surg route. I will be 3-6 weeks til I will really know. The PA I spoke with today really helped set my mind at ease. He sat with me and answered any ??'s I had. And when he answered it was in people talk.. not Dr talk. lol. You start talking names of bones, joints, and ligaments it might as well be Greek to me. OK some I know but not enough to understand the fast talking Greek words. Deliman, My family on my Fathers side are super obese. At least 98 % of them are. We also have a strong history of heart disease, cancers, disabling arthritis, degenerative bone/ joint issues, and diabetes. my uncles that had knee issues were all obese except one and his knee issue was job related.(Carpet layer/ and carpentry) the uncle that had a knee replacement and lost both legs, He was screwed when He decided to have the knee replacement. He was full blown diabetic taking 4 to 6 shots for blood sugars a day, He had a severe infection in his knee that was replaced. poor circulation the infection turned out to be in most if not all joints very bad. the infection was actually what killed him. I don't want people to think I am not taking care of me or ignoring my hep. At this time there is not much I can do to fight my hep as far as TX. So my Dr and I are working on other medical issues in the mean time. I am changing my eating habits eating more healthy. Hep C is my primary issue, In order to treat it I have to get some other medical issues out of the way..FAT being the biggest issue. Onward I strive in fighting for the health of me and my body. Thanks to you all I have the courage to care about me, and take care of ME. Love dThe art of living lies not in eliminating but in growing with troubles. -Bernard M. Baruch Stay in the know.
